On Wednesday, March 25th 4th grade students will take Session II of RICAS ELA. Students please be sure your chromebooks are charged, get a good nights rest, a good breakfast and arrive to school on time.
Opening day for the 2026 baseball season is on Thursday. Everyone is welcome to wear baseball attire!

2. Starting on April 8th, practice will be extended to 6:00 pm.

We will be voting on proposed changes to our bylaws in regards to the PTA board positions. We will be discussing the Nomination Committee and the upcoming election for the next two-year term. Please make every effort to use the drop off loop via Mullen Rd. during morning arrival. This morning we have several cars blocking our bus lane.
When visiting or picking up your child early, please park in a designated parking spot and avoid parking in the fire lane in front of the building.
Please avoid requesting an early dismissal after 2:55 PM.
Thank you for your attention to these routines.

***The Brain Show***
For the fifth year in a row the PTA brought in The Brain Show for two assemblies today! Always a favorite among our students and teachers, this game show style assembly shows everyone how fun learning can be! It was entertaining and educational for all!
We are able to provide programs such as The Brain Show thanks to YOU and YOUR SUPPORT during our School Spirit Fundraiser last fall and our dine outs all year long! Thank you so much for your continued support!

Over the next several weeks, students in grades 3–5 will participate in the Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS), which measures student proficiency in English Language Arts and mathematics. Students have been engaged in standards-based lessons throughout the school year and are ready to show what they have learned. To help them do their best, please encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time during the testing window.The testing schedule is listed below.

Today afterschool at Holliman School there was an incident in the bus room where a student's Chromebook overheated. There was a minor amount of smoke coming from his backpack and a teacher quickly took it off the child and brought it outside. The fire department was called and they're in the process of investigating the incident. We are happy to report there were no injuries, but we wanted to keep you all in informed.
