On Monday, March 30, Mr. Hagopian was surprised by a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Burke of Lindsay’s Friends, a group devoted to supporting the end of relationship violence.
Mr. and Mrs. Burke presented Mr. Hagopian with the Lindsay’s Friends award for his outstanding and ongoing work bringing domestic abuse content and resources to Toll Gate students. Mr. Hagopian also received a $500 grant to use in his health classes to further the mission of educating students about relationship violence and available resources.
The presentation of the award served as a powerful affirmation of the impactful work Mr. Hagopian is doing to foster a safer, more informed environment for the students at Toll Gate High School.
