Be sure to wear red, white, and blue today in honor of our Veterans -- and Veterans Day!! (Grades 3-5 should dress for fluctuations in temperature for our outdoor ceremony held at 10 AM.) Scouts in the ceremony should wear their uniforms to school, with a change of comfy clothes if they wish for after the program. For safety, and so the kids can actively participate in the fun of recess and physical education classes, costumes are highly discouraged in school on Monday, Oct 31st (Halloween). However, Kindergarteners who celebrate may bring their costume to school to put on and wear in an optional parade through the building at the end of the day. Students in Grades K-5 are welcome to participate in an optional dress down day by wearing orange and black clothing - or fun Fall t-shirts and accessories.
